The World Sikh Parliament is preparing a year-long celebration of the 400th anniversary worldwide. As a first step, the World Sikh Parliament is proud to release a dedicated logo for the 400th anniversary. The logo contains the lines written by poet Senapati of Guru Gobind Singh’s court
“Pargat Bhaye Teg Bahadur Sagal Srisht Pae Dhapi Chadar”The World Sikh Parliament believes this is a true representation of Guru Teg Bahadur’s sacrifice and cannot be reduced to one community or nation. He was truly a protector of humanity. The light represents a human life. The hands around the light represent the protection of human rights. The blue and Basanti colors are two of the prominent colors in Sikhi.
